謎の仏像

[ 01. 今日の出来事 ]

先日、「古い大きな阿弥陀様を、新しい仏壇に入れたい」
とのお客様が来店。
まず、実際に見させていただいてから、進めましょうかと言う事で、
今朝見に行って来ました。
身の丈1尺1寸、台座も見事な阿弥陀様がいらっしゃいました。
良い物ですので、何とか進めましょうと話を区切ると、
同じお部屋に、厨子に入った仏像が見えました。

これは!?
お客様もさっぱり解らないらしく、
阿弥陀様より古い物・・・300年以上前の仏像では?との事です。
武器を持って鎧を着ているので、〜天の女性のどなたかと思いますが、
鬼とも力神とも違って、小さな人が下で支えているのは何!?
何にしても貴重な仏像を見せていただいて、ありがとうございました。
